Young New Fashion Year USA, UK Fashion Awards 2012

Bisma of B’ZMA has achieved yet another milestone by being nominated as the “Emerging Designer of the Year” UK’s Fashions Finest Awards 2012, scheduled to take place in London in the month of October. This young designer, with a multi-cultural background, is synonymous with style & versatility, and caters to a diverse clientele globally. Her design philosophy is progressive fashion that is asymmetrical in nature, more human than Godlike, is avant-garde yet maintains traditional fundamentals. Having showcased at major Fashion Weeks & other events in the Middle East, Asia, UK, USA & Africa in a short span of 3 years, Bisma also bagged the opportunity to design 18 outfits for a contestant at the prestigious Miss World 2011 contest.

This pro-active & self-motivated designer, who is currently perusing a Master’s degree in Fashion & Technology from the University of Wales, endorses Social Corporate Responsibility by promoting “Sustainable Fashion” & “The Slow Fashion Movement”. Her fashion forward thinking, diverse nature of designs, innovative marketing techniques and a positive approach towards the Fashion Going Green cause, impressed the jury at the Fashions Finest Awards, and has resulted in securing her a place as one of the four nominees in the Emerging Designer of the Year category.
